9th Annual San Francisco Planning Day

On a beautiful October morning, Certified Financial Planners and a team of volunteers from all across the San Francisco Bay Area gathered together at the San Francisco Public Library. Sharing the same passion to deliver exceptional financial education to anyone and everyone, a day like today is just one way they can offer a portion of the knowledge they have worked so hard to obtain.

Financial Planning Days is a way for advisors to give back to their local community with their skills and expertise helping people who might not normally have access to competent and ethical financial planners.

Two of our planners, Bonnie and Brody, participated this year at the 9th Annual San Francisco Planning Day. They volunteered with 35 others helping hundreds of wonderful individuals and families in the Bay Area. Attendees could participate in workshops on a range of topics from taxes to estate planning, meet with local organizations offering housing assistance and beyond, and have a one-on-one planning session with a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant.

While it was a long day, they were able to meet with and hear from quite a variety of people from all walks of life and provide a service that will hopefully impact lives for years to come.

This day was such a good reminder that the work we do is so meaningful and a wonderful chance to partner with people we don’t often serve.
